AIR OF EARTH AESTHETICS

WELCOME TO YOUR POST FACIAL GLOW!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Congratulations on investing in your skin with a facial at Air of Earth Aesthetics. Now that you’ve had your treatment, let’s walk you through what to expect, how to care for your skin at home, and some wellness tips to help you maintain your results for the long term.

After your facial, you may experience:

• Slight Redness: This is normal, especially if extractions were performed. It should subside within a few hours.

• Increased Glow: You’ll notice brighter, more hydrated skin right away. This post-facial glow typically lasts for a few days.

• Tingling or Sensitivity: If we used active ingredients (like acids or enzymes), your skin might feel a little sensitive. Avoid direct sunlight and harsh products for 48 hours.

Aftercare Tips:

• Avoid makeup for at least 24 hours to let your skin breathe and absorb all the beneficial products.

• No sweating or heat exposure (saunas, gyms) for 24 hours to prevent irritation.

• Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to help your skin detox and stay glowing.

• Stay out of the sun: Use a broad-spectrum SPF to protect your newly treated skin.

No need to do a routine for the remainder of the day. Download the pocketsuite app to keep up with appointments.

WHY SKINCARE IS ESSENTIAL

Consistent skincare is the key to maintaining the benefits of your facial and preventing future issues. Think of your skin as an investment—what you do at home supports the work done in the treatment room.

The Importance of Routine Skincare:

• Prevents premature aging: Regular use of antioxidants and SPF protects your skin from environmental damage.

• Treats specific concerns: Whether you’re dealing with acne, pigmentation, or sensitivity, proper skincare keeps these concerns in check.

• Enhances your facial results: Skincare routines extend the glow and benefits of your facial.

WELLNESS

Skincare is an inside-out approach. They both work synergistic-ally for great results.NOTE: please check your email for a personalized wellness routine. I know diet can be tricky, but in my research the main culprits affecting skin are sugar and consuming too many acidic products like dairy. These culprits lead to inflammation, acne, post inflammatory pigmentation and dull life-less skin. If you're acne prone check out the Acne and lifestyle guide listed in resources. Also, the Free Skin and Wellness ebook goes into nutrition more in depth.

A rule of thumb is to try to have balanced meals. ½ your plate vegetables, small amount of healthy fats (I.E avocado, olive oil) ¼ your plate protein and ¼ your plate a complex carb like sweet potatoes.

Eliminate or reduce all processed foods. reduce sugar try to eat foods that contain no more than 5 grams of sugar. I would recommend staying within the women's daily intake amount of 25grams (per the American Heart Association)

Upon waking consume 16oz of warm lemon water to help alkalize your body and wake up your liver. And drink half of your body weight in ounces daily.

WELLNESS REMINDER
• Hydration: Aim for at least 8 glasses of water daily to keep your skin plump and hydrated.

• Diet: Eat nutrient-dense foods rich in antioxidants (like berries, leafy greens, and nuts) to protect and nourish your skin.

• Supplements: Consider adding Omega-3s for skin elasticity and Probiotics for gut-skin health.

• Sleep: Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep to allow your skin time to repair itself.

• Stress Management: Reduce stress with mindfulness practices like yoga or meditation to prevent breakouts and dull skin.
